The countdown to Halloween begins with a horror film challenge not for the weak-willed.
The 100 Horror Movies in 92 Days Challenge begins today. Created by Sarah Stubbs, the challenge asks horror enthusiasts to watch 100 films they've never seen before in the allotted time period and to share their screenings, reviews, and recommendations on social media. The activity brings the horror community together to celebrate the horror genre through an appreciation for films be it Slashers, Folk Horror, Art House, and beyond.
The challenge runs from August 1 - October 31.
The goal is to watch at least 100 horror movies in this time period.
The films must be new to you. In other words, you have never seen it.
Films must be at least 45 minutes to count.
Films must be classified as horror by either Letterboxd or IMDb.
There is no limit to how many films must be watched per day or week, only that you should have at least 100 by the end of the challenge.
To participate, use the hashtag #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days on your social channels, join the challenge on Letterboxd using the tag 100HorrorMoviesIn92Days on your screened films, and on your watchlists, join the community on Discord, Twitter and follow SpookySarahSays!
